Als oprichter van Soul Surfers Foundation en wellicht uit Scheveningen, op mijn longboard in zee.
Ook heeft de stichting al menigmaal deelgenomen aan diverse wedstrijden, momenteel staan wij in de finale van Voor de Wereld van Morgen waarvoor nog steeds gestemd kan worden.Wat is D-Surf it!?
D-Surf it! Fair Clothing Ind. is een merk opgericht door Soul Surfers Foundation om door eerlijke handel fondsen te werven voor de sport en ontwikkelingsprojecten die Soul Surfers Foundation ondersteunt. Dit gebeurt ook op een manier waarbij er zo min mogelijk schade wordt aangericht aan de natuur.Deze mooie shirts zijn gemaakt van heerlijk zacht bio katoen en zitten meteen fijn. Er zijn 3 modellen voor de dames en 2 voor de heren beschikbaar. Check hier de modellen! Deze fair clothing t-shirts zijn in een beperkte oplage verkrijgbaar, dus op is op!
Hoe lang bestaat soulsurfers inmiddels?
Officieel 3 jaar, maar in 2006 werd de basis in Peru gelegd.Wat is voor jou de drive om deze droom te verwezelijken?

Shake – Brilliant dutch graffiti artist
Jill Martens, also known as `Shake`, is a brilliant Dutch graffiti artist from The Hague. Although his career started being a graffiti virtuoso, painting anything from walls to trains, from cars to furniture. Jill developed himself into a more all-round graphics designer and he has taken graffiti-art onto the next level. Taking the street style art form from walls to canvas, his paintings have now been auctioned at Sotheby`s and have been exposed from Antwerp to Barcelona.
He was even asked to beautify a fifty meter long wall, inside the (in)famous Scheveningen correctional facility (prison), and he painted the whole training facility for the Dutch Olympic beach volleyball team, for which sand was brought in from Beijing, China.Although Jill spends a lot more time these days designing computer-rendered graphics and lay-outs, and painting his art inside his home, he will always feel the shivers down his spine, when looking at a big empty wall…Never being able to part from his roots, he will always have a passion for illegal street style graffiti writing. Sexual Reproductive Systems is a collaboration between four Dutch artists; a guitarist, an idiot, a drummer and a producer. Having our roots in very different genres our music seems uncomparable with any kind of music. Our mission is to be as creative and teasing as possible in a kind of humouristic way, while keeping every track highly dancable on its own. Our goal is to tear venues apart by spreading the sexual revolution. At the end its reproduction where we’re all here for.

The Saturday Suns
“Saturday sun came without warning”; zo omschreef Nick Drake de opkomst van de zon. Niet wetend dat exact 40 jaar later The Saturday Sun’s zonder waarschuwing op zouden komen.
Eimert Komen, Brian van Vliet, Wouter Pols en Sjoerd Knijnenburg maken hun zonsopgang in het najaar van 2010 en zijn niet van plan om ooit nog onder te gaan. Met hun mix van indie/britpop/swingpop/alternative/poprock vormen zij een vuurbal die genoeg warmte heeft uitgestraald om hun eerste winter te hebben kunnen overleven. In het voorjaar van 2011 wordt het tijd om de doorgewinterde mensen te overweldigen met de warmtevolle nummers van The Saturday Sun’s.
